The Altantuya Shaariibuu murder saga. clearly a travesty of justice!

Najib has a gangster as home minister and his IGP a Pathological liar

“If the Police and public want to know the truth, Sirul challenge Khalid to open the ‘intelligence’ file,” Sirul retorted. The intelligence files that Sirul was referring to was the original statement he gave to Malaysian Intelligence Police – commonly referred to as the Special Branch – and the Police Criminal Investigation Department. It was recorded when he was picked up by the Police and brought home from Pakistan, while accompanying then Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

What Khalid  would not do to save his boss! How can we have the IGP like him, who is a political lapdog to the Prime Minister. Something is seriously amiss in the state of Malaysia (with apologies to Hamlet and Mr. Shakespeare).–
Zunar on Khalid Ashburn
Small lies are not as innocuous as they may seem; they have the huge potential to undermine your credibility and relationships
Khalid Abu Bakar, inspector-general of police (IGP), has in the meantime, been performing backward somersaults trying to avoid the entire issue and instead, appears to have dedicated his entire career to tracking Twitter messages on social media
“Hey come on, I didn’t really lie! Just a small holding back of facts about such an innocuous matter. I just wanted to avoid a discussion…that’s hardly a lie!”
And yet you feel betrayed, hurt and upset… Sounds familiar?
“Are you crazy? I am NOT having an affair…we just exchanged a few flirtatious messages…how can that be wrong!”
And yet you feel wronged, betrayed and hurt…
For it is these little lies and betrayals that make a big difference to one’s credibility and to the quality of a relationship, whether personal or professional. The bigger lies that have the potential of blowing up in the face could remain unknown and hidden forever, thus not really causing any harm. The smaller lies that you unthinkingly and carelessly blurt out, not just get caught all the time, but also lay the foundation of how dependable or trustworthy a person or relationship is!
It was Adolf Hitler who coined the expression “Big Lie”, distinguishing it from the small lies. He used the Big Lie as a propaganda technique. As he said in Mein Kampf, “… in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods…”
This is the principle adopted today by marketing agencies and propaganda machines when they furnish us with Big Lies on a regular basis with the help of mass media. However, the big lie is not something most of us would be familiar with in our daily lives. Sure, all of us would have indulged in some falsehood or the other sometime in life, but these are the small, everyday lies that either help us through a situation, or may have become a chronic habit!  Lying, stealing, cheating is first an act of betrayal to you yourself, then to anyone else. You are the one who draws the lines and defines the limits for yourself and for your relationship. But, are they really? Why then do you need to tell yourself yet another lie in order to feel better?
Psychotherapist Stephen Cope, author of Yoga and the Quest for the True Self, says that people are aware of a sense of self-estrangement, and understand that they are not living lives according to ‘their true authentic selves, their deepest possibilities in the world. The result is a sense of near-desperation.’ Healing this, he feels, would lead us to a new sense of purpose and to a deeper, more satisfying life.
Being true to your real self, psychiatrists tell us, induces psychological well-being as it leads to a feeling of higher self-esteem and satisfaction, and hence happiness. People who are true to themselves also have better coping skills and are mentally and physically, healthier.

Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar be true to your self Looking deep into Khalid Abu Bakar,  eyes, or another’s, can be an uncomfortable experience because not all of us are prepared for the truths revealed

Simply put, your core is your real, essential self — the authentic you, the person you are when you shed all pretences. That’s the easy part; what is more difficult is tearing down the perception you have of your real self! For, all of us come to adopt an image of ourselves that we believe in very early in life, and then live trapped in that image for the rest of our lives.
.Everybody likes attention, and when suddenly deprived of it is upset, befuddled and quick to blame others. This is a common human predicament. In a sense, it is an apt description for  a Pathological liar
Sirul Azhar Umar has accused Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar of lying when the Police Chief said he sent his men to Australia to meet the fugitive.
Speaking to Malaysiakini at 2.30am Malaysian time today (5:30am Australian time), Sirul said he had trouble sleeping following the IGP’s remarks yesterday, which he described as irresponsible.
“Let me tell you, there were no officers or Police personnel who met me in Australia. He (IGP) is lying to the police force and lying to the public with his claims, and is trying to protect his boss,” Sirul said.
The IGP was reported in Bernama yesterday saying the Police had already met up with Sirul, who is currently under immigration detention in Australia, to gather information on all the allegations he had raised.
However, when asked if any Police had been sent to meet with Sirul, Deputy IGP Noar Rashid said he is in the dark. “Maybe IGP has the knowledge. I do not know, I focus on other things, these things are not within my knowledge,” he told Malaysiakini when met at University Technology Malaysia. That intelligence statement was taken during investigations over Altantuya’s murder, along with his cautioned statement – widely referred to as his “confession” statement – by the Police Criminal Investigation Department.
The prosecution tried to tender the “confession” statement during the Shah Alam High Court trial but was rejected by Justice Mohd Zaki Yasin in a trial within a trial.
Sirul yesterday claimed the widely circulated “confession” statement – put up on the Internet – was false, as there there had been a lot of changes made on it. The IGP was also quoted by Bernama saying that Sirul had not revealed any new information, leaving the police with no grounds to launch a new probe.
“All allegations, including the latest, have been investigated and after examining the outcome of the investigation, we gather there is nothing for us to act further,” the IGP said in response to former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s suggestion that Sirul’s latest allegations be given attention.
Khalid’ has even had the audacity to threaten (which he is very good at) anyone who dares to bring up the issue of ‘motive’ in the grisly murder of an innocent female foreign national at the hands of two of Malaysia’s best trained commandos.
The excuse Khalid has given is that the Federal Court has made a decision and any questioning of the reasons behind that decision would be tantamount to contempt of court.
What Khalid has failed miserably to appreciate is the fact that no one is ‘questioning’ that decision. Everyone agrees the decision is correct.
Whichever way we look at it or from whatever vantage, there is one singular truth about the Altantuya murder-mystery. Malaysia’s redemption in the eyes of the world community rests in the what and how and who of this gruesome murder story.
After the murder of Altantuya, a charitable soul contacted Shaaribuu Setev, the father of the young woman : Datuk Syed, honorary consul of Mongolia in Malaysia. “I am ready to do everything to help you”, said the diplomat to Shaaribuu Setev. His dedication even pushed the amicable Datuk Syed to make revelations to the father. “The Malaysian governement is ready to spend one billion of tughrik (mongolian currency, equivalent to 500,000 euros) to cover up the case”

  • NAZIM, DEEPAK, DINESH, SURESH, ASP MUNIANDY,AMBALABALAN SHOULD ALL BE CHARGED FOR CONSPIRACY TO WITHHOLD INFORMATION REGARDING A MURDER CASE,

Despite the press releases being launched from the IGP’s office, none of them detract from the fact that convicted murderer Sirul Azhar Umar has categorically said no officer from the Polis Di-Raja Malaysia (PDRM) has visited him in Sydney to interview him.
If Khalid disputes this, all he has to do is release the names of those officers who ostensibly attended to Sirul (left) and the exact date and time they clocked in with the detention centre authorities. Inspector Tonny Luggan (the investigating officer in Altantuya’s case) says he was not sent to see Sirul in Sydney, so who was?
Malaysian strategic thinking are today more outward looking than in recent history. Mahathir, in a scathing blog post on Thursday, asked who had directed the killing of Altantuya following Sirul’s claims that he was merely following orders and Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had rubbished such latest allegations
WHAT IS HAPPENING? NO APPEAL FOR A MURDER CASE AND YET IN RAJA PETRA’S HABEAS CORPUS CASE, THE APPEAL IS MADE VERY QUICKLY. THE MALAYSIAN PUBLIC HAS THE RIGHT TO KNOW THE REASONS FOR THIS APPARENT DISCRIMINATION. MAYBE, RAZAK BAGINDA IS A CLOSE ASSOCIATE OF THE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER, NAJIB TUN RAZAK, WHEREAS RAJA PETRA IS NAJIB’S STRONGEST CRITIC. IF NOT, WHAT ELSE?  PLEASE, DEPUTY PUBLIC PROSECUTOR TUN MAJID TUN HAMZAH, CAN YOU EXPLAIN?

This is a prosecutorial misconduct, a prosecution scandal! Beyond that, this is another example of the abuses by A-G Gani Patail of his powers as the Public Prosecutor under Article 145 of the Federal Constitution. How much more abuses are we to tolerate of this A-G?!
Who is Wong Kian Kheong (WKK)?
To understand how a small private matter of no consequence to the public can end up being a prosecution case, albeit by way of a private prosecution, one has to understand the players behind the Daphne Iking’s case. It was reported that Wong Kian Kheong (WKK as how he is known in  legal circles) is leading the prosecution team. Who is this WKK?
WKK was once a Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) and is a blue eyed boy of A-G Gani Patail. There are a lot of rumours in legal circles about WKK’s closeness to A-G Gani Patail, not less that if you want things done with A-G Chambers, go to see WKK.   This rumour may be fuelled by the fact that WKK runs a flourishing criminal practice in very posh offices. But that rumour could just be pure jealousy and business rivalry. Then again, WKK has achieved amazing things that many criminal lawyers could not do. One example frequently given is the fact that WKK was the lawyer who defended Razak Baginda
Malaysians could not possibly forget the Altantuya murder case, the Mongolian beauty who was C4ed and blown to pieces. The main culprit in that case, Razak Baginda was acquittedwithout his defence being called, while the special forces policemen, two Unit Tindakan Khas(UTK) officers(right) were convicted and sentenced to death.
Razak Baginda was the close aide and adviser of PM Najib when Najib was the country’s Defence Minister. Altantuya and Razak Baginda were linked to Najib in the Scorpene Submarine Scandal that to this day still stained and haunts PM Najib’s premiership. MINDEF has taken steps to can any story on the Scorpene submarines that could not submerge and stay underwater.
WKK’s handling of Razak Baginda’s defence in the Altantuya murder case became controversial from the very beginning when Razak Baginda managed to get bail despite facing a murder charge. In an unprecedented step, WKK later filed a highly controversial affidavit in which explosive revelations were made, pointing the murderers to be two UTK officers, Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri and Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar. Eventually, these two UTK officers were found guilty of kidnapping and killing Altantuya while Razak Baginda was acquitted.
Upon his acquittal, Razak Baginda immediately announced that he was leaving the country to pursue further studies. That was a really absurd excuse for making an escape. Scholarship holders would tell you that if you default or dispute a PTPTN study loan, the Immigration Department would not hesitate to impound your passport and bar you from leaving the country. Here, a man summarily acquitted for murder while there could be an appeal, was allowed to leave the country. That was the greatest escapade aided and abetted by the A-G Chambers and the Immigration Department!
As a fait accompli, A-G Gani Patail announced that he, as the Public Prosecutor, would not be appealing against Razak Baginda’s acquittal. The A-G  gave the excuse that he  respected the court’s finding of fact to acquit Razak and thus would not pursue the case any further. This was clearly a travesty of justice!
