AG skirts issue of sudden transfer of MACC man Attorney-general Mohd Apandi Ali has declined to comment on the transfer of MACC prosecutor Ahmad Shazalee Abdul Khairi.
Such dedication, such loyalty, this is beyond mere stupidity. Either a lot of 'donations' shared with this one, or he has one too many skeletons to hide.Is this not interfering in the investigations. This is one of the worst AG Malaysia ever had.Whe he is caught by his balls he does not want to answer the AG and what responsibility that holds in the administration of justice and how it must be reflected not only through the quality of charging and prosecuting but the very conduct of human capital management, directing investigations and making legal views that are consistent with the best practices of accountability, transparency and humanitarianism

In what is seen as a possible ongoing disruption of investigations into the SRC International Sdn Bhd case, a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission prosecutor who was involved with the remand of several key witnesses was suddenly transferred today, sources told Malaysiakini.
DPP Ahmad Shazalee Abdul Khairi, who was also picked up by the police in the wee hours of Aug 1, was held in a lock-up and had his home and office ransacked.

Is the whole country deaf and dumb ?

the judicial system in Malaysia has collapsed, and is beyond redemption

it’s a tragic denunciation of the entire judicia land political system and the media. It’s all about sordid blackmail and extortion. The former prime minister said this in reference to the charges of sabotage of the financial system made against Umno Batu Kawan vice-head Khairuddin Abu Hassan and Mahathir’s former political secretary, Matthias Chang.

A familiar turf? Corruption. Lies. Inept  Najib governance. Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali Damned if you do and damned if you don’"Since it was Najib who created 1MDB, borrowed RM42 billion and invested the money and lost it, Najib should also be charged with sabotage," Mahathir wrote in his blog.
This is a crucial jurisprudential question which needs to be considered
Mahathir said he was confused by the Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali's statement that Khairuddin and Chang are charged with sabotage of the nation’s banking and financial system.
He said this was because the duo lodged reports with authorities in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Hong Kong where the purported transaction took place, based on foreign news reports on 1MDB investments.
"Wouldn’t these press reports then be considered as sabotage?" he asked.
He said the news reports read by the 'whole world' were 'not casual reports' but had detailed descriptions.
Despite the reports arguably causing a bad impression on Malaysia's financial and banking system, he said, neither 1MDB nor the Finance Ministry satisfactorily rebutted the reports.
Mahathir further reasoned that if 1MDB never existed, it could not have borrowed RM42 billion and therefore no reports would have been lodged anywhere over the matter.
As such, he snidely observed, everyone involved since the inception of 1MDB should similarly be charged with sabotaging Malaysia's financial and banking system.
Let me begin with a caveat. I am no blind admirer of  Mohamed Apandi Ali . To be truthful, I am not even an admirer. I have a typical journalistic insouciance towards all things political. So I admire no one till they actually demonstrate that they can rise above our immediate politics to emerge as a visionary, someone who can lead Attorney-General office into its future. And right now I see no one fitting into that picture.
Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali get to the real story Thanks to the paradox of politics, I may be sticking my neck out saying this because there’s nothing certain in politics and impossible things invariably happen just to prove to us currently, with so much scepticism over the integrity of Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali
We are all keen to reach conclusions and move on; but Najib is a continuous process that unravels itself layer by layer.
the Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali can reach decisions based on his perspectives and compulsions, but conclusions are based on hard facts and empirical evidence.unable to present a logical set of reasoning and evidence Problem is that Apandi Ali  searching for conclusions, so that he can shut the lid on 1MDB
1MDB and those responsible must be charged with abusing the banking and financial system, repayment of the loans notwithstanding. The Big Obsessive 1MDB  Scam’ the media goes after. It often covers up a great deal more than it reveals. It also draws away our immediate attention from issues where we were about to get close to a dangerous truth or two. Poirot famously described it as a red herring, a cunning device to draw people’s attention away from real issues to focus on a non sequitur MacGuffin.

leave no scope for discussion or differing viewpoints, so sure are they of the rightness of their decision, and the impossibility of another reality. For them, a conclusion isn’t arrived at with due diligence – their conclusions are usually the same. For this quote by Japanese author Haruki Murakami came as a breath of fresh air. In an interview he said, “I think that my job is to observe people and the world, and not to judge them. I always hope to position myself away from so-called conclusions. I would like to leave everything wide open to all the possibilities. In conclusion, there is no conclusion. Things will go on as they always have, getting weirder all the time.
