It got under my skin. It disgusted me, to see how Justice was being commercialized in Malaysia After all, our judiciary is in a hurry to convict anyone and when it does the right deal the Supreme Court is basically kind and considerate and adopts a humane approach towards the guilty as they too are human beings with human feelings and emotions and I really have no problem with that. In fact, it is indeed a laudable feature of our judiciary. Period. The question is, the UMNO's judges and commercialization of Justice spared not a thought for the families of their victims? These people too deserve the court’s mercy? They too have the right to breathe free, like you and me? Doesn’t crime deserve punishment? The very accusation of sodomy against anwar still stands as just an accusation and nothing else. At this rate anyone can accuse anyone of any wrong doing and the prosecution can go to any extent to prove that that accusation is true. The accuser can stand aside and laugh to himself at the stupidity of the prosecution. The accused could only stand and wonder what the accusation is all about.This just proves the utter decadence of the judiciary. Can someone tell me the exact proof of saiful's accusation. The DNA findings could be questionable knowing how the police officer pereira was implicated. The whole thing stinks of a massive fix up. What more shafee himself was implicated by zain.
